Mario Ibarra
Custom Department Manager/Color Specialist
Mario Ibarra has worked in wood flooring since he was 16 years old and has been with Amber Flooring for over twenty years. Mario started with our coating/finishing crew but given his love of art and background as an artist, he soon moved to our staining crew and is now our chief color specialist. It’s hard to say enough good things about Mario: His expertise in not just creating new colors and textures for floors but in matching existing color ways is truly unmatched in the Bay Area. Mario has created several lines of stains and finishes that we independently marketed and sold.
When not matching or creating new colorways, Mario can be found at home with his partner and cat and dog. He has a chihuahua named Benito and a cat named Murci. Mario loves to travel and explore art through different cultures. He also enjoys spending time with family and friends
